EU warns of strong response after Russian threats against Baltic states
President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, has condemned public threats from Russia against the Baltic member states, warning that any threat directed at one EU country represents a threat to the entire bloc.
In a post on X, Von der Leyen said Russia’s rhetoric toward the Baltic states was “completely unacceptable” and stressed that there should be no ambiguity regarding the EU’s collective security stance. She added that any threat against a single member state must be regarded as a threat against the European Union as a whole, Caliber.Az reports.
Russia’s public threats against our Baltic States are completely unacceptable.

Let there be no doubt.
A threat against one Member State is a threat against our entire Union.
Russia and Belarus bear direct responsibility for drones endangering the lives and security of people…
She also accused Russia and Belarus of bearing direct responsibility for incidents involving drones that she said have endangered the lives and security of people along the EU’s eastern flank.
"Russia and Belarus bear direct responsibility for drones endangering the lives and security of people on our Eastern flank. Europe will respond with unity and strength," she wrote.
She noted that bloc would continue reinforcing the security of its eastern border through stronger collective defence measures and enhanced preparedness at all levels.
