Child wounded as Qatar intercepts Iranian missile over Doha

The Ministry of Defence of Qatar reported that it had prevented a missile strike from Iran. During the interception operation, a child was injured by falling shrapnel, the country's Ministry of Interior noted. The child is currently receiving medical assistance.

According to Reuters, citing an eyewitness, several explosion-like sounds were heard in the capital, Doha. At that time, an emergency alert was sent to mobile phones.
