Finland, Ukraine to sign military support agreement

Finnish President Alexander Stubb is keen to sign a military support agreement with Ukraine.

According to the Iltalehti newspaper the signing of the agreement was scheduled to take place during the Finnish leader's visit to Ukraine, the date of which was not disclosed.

The agreement will oblige Finland to supply Ukraine with arms "for many years", as well as to equip the Ukrainian navy and support Kyiv's membership in NATO without specifying the timing of this event.
