Five people were injured in a stabbing incident at New York’s Penn Station on the evening of June 7, in a chaotic attack inside one of the city’s busiest transit hubs.
According to the Fire Department of New York (FDNY), the incident began shortly after 7 p.m. at the Midtown Manhattan commuter station, sending commuters fleeing for safety, The New York Post reports.
Emergency services transported all five victims to Bellevue Hospital. Officials said one person sustained serious injuries, two were moderately injured, and two others suffered minor injuries.
