Georgia's Justice Ministry calls on organisations to register under new transparency law

Organizations falling under the law “On Transparency of Foreign Influence” can register until September 2 inclusive.

This is stated in a statement of the National Public Registry Agency of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media.

“The term of registration in the relevant register for organizations is set until September 2 of this year inclusive,” the statement reads.

According to the agency, branches of the House of Justice in 30 cities of Georgia will be open on Sunday, September 1, from 10:00 to 17:00 local time (09:00 - 16:00 Moscow time). Organizations with more than 20% of their funding coming from abroad can apply at the branches of the House of Justice.
