Iran reaffirms commitment to JCPOA, slams US & E3/EU non-compliance
Iran’s ambassador to the UN Amir Saeed Iravani stated that the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) is an irreplaceable diplomatic achievement.
Speaking at a UN Security Council meeting, Iravani condemned the US and E3/EU (France, Germany, and the UK) for their failure to uphold JCPOA commitments following the US’s unilateral withdrawal in 2018, Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media.
He emphasized that Iran's nuclear activities are for peaceful purposes and conducted under strict monitoring.
Iravani highlighted that Iran remains willing to restore the JCPOA and resume its commitments if the US and E3/EU fully comply with their obligations. He called for sincere dialogue and constructive cooperation, rejecting pressure and confrontation as counterproductive.
