Iran’s Supreme Leader urges vigilance against 'enemy's psychological warfare & plots'
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has issued a stern warning against the enemy's psychological warfare, calling for intensified efforts to counter their plots, particularly in the cultural field.
Speaking on August 14 during a meeting with members of the National Congress of Martyrs of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province, Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized the resilience of Iranian martyrs who stood against such psychological tactics through their sacrifice and struggle, Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media.
"The martyrs confronted and neutralized this psychological warfare with their dedication," the leader remarked, highlighting the bravery of those who defended Iran during the West-backed Baath regime of Saddam Hussein. He further explained that the enemy's psychological warfare in the military domain is designed to instill fear, but the martyrs' legacy serves as a powerful counter to such intimidation.
Ayatollah Khamenei also urged reliance on domestic capabilities while avoiding the exaggeration of the enemy's power. He criticized those who succumb to the demands of Western powers, asserting that nations can resist external pressures by relying on their own strengths and understanding the true limits of the enemy's influence.
In his address, Ayatollah Khamenei underscored the importance of cultural resistance, praising efforts to preserve the memory and lifestyle of the martyrs. He warned that the enemy's cultural plots aim to undermine the people's way of life, and stressed the need for ongoing vigilance and dedication in defending Iran's values and heritage.
