IRGC navy receives over 2,600 advanced military systems plus missiles & drones
In a significant military enhancement, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy received 2,640 new pieces of military equipment, including missile systems and drones, on Friday.
During a ceremony attended by the commander-in-chief of the IRGC, these advanced systems were officially handed over to the IRGC Naval Combat Organization, Caliber.Az reports via an Iranian media outlet.
They include cruise missiles equipped with high-explosive warheads and advanced undetectability features, capable of inflicting severe damage on enemy destroyers.
The range of equipment also includes various types of long-range and medium-range radar-evading missile systems, combat drones, electronic warfare systems, naval radars, and other combat tools. Out of the 2,640 systems handed over, only 210 were displayed publicly.
