Kremlin warns of “rapidly” deteriorating situation on oil markets

Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov has warned of a “rapidly” deteriorating situation on the oil markets.

Addressing the issue, he said this was mainly due to the situation in the Persian Gulf, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.

In his words, the disruption of a Saudi oil pipeline has removed more than 4% of global supplies from the market, which he said could not fail to cause concern.

“The situation on the oil markets is rapidly deteriorating, mainly due to the situation in the Persian Gulf,” he stressed.

Speaking about the war with Ukraine, he noted that Russia welcomes any call on Kyiv to halt strikes against civilian economic infrastructure.

According to him, any country could contribute to a settlement in Ukraine by influencing Kyiv and encouraging it to show flexibility.
