Israel applauds Kazakhstan’s entry into Abraham Accords
Kazakhstan and Israel are strengthening diplomatic ties following a high-level phone call between their presidents. During the conversation, Israel’s Isaac Herzog praised Kazakhstan’s democratic progress and its decision to join the Abraham Accords, highlighting the move as a strategic step toward lasting peace in the Middle East.
President Herzog congratulated his Kazakh counterpart Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the successful nationwide referendum and the adoption of Kazakhstan’s new Constitution, highlighting the country’s democratic progress, Akorda reports.
The two leaders explored the current state of cooperation between their nations and prospects for further collaboration, with particular emphasis on expanding trade, economic ties, and investment opportunities.
Herzog echoed Tokayev’s view that lasting peace is essential for nations to achieve long-term economic development.
Tokayev stressed the importance of consistently pursuing political solutions to contentious international issues.
