Turkish police arrest man for kicking cat in mosque

A man was arrested in Erzurum, Türkey, after kicking a cat that entered the prayer hall of the Adalar Mosque during evening prayers.

Surveillance cameras captured the moment the cat was kicked and flew toward the imam, who continued praying despite the incident, Caliber.Az reports, citing Turkish media.

The Erzurum Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation under the animal protection law.
