Sochi Airport delays around 60 departures amid drone attack reports PHOTO

Departures of around 60 flights at Sochi Airport have been delayed after restrictions were imposed, amid reports of multiple explosions in the city overnight, according to reports.

Residents of Sochi reported hearing a large number of explosions during the night of September 4.

ASTRA reported that an air-defense division near Sochi had come under attack, triggering a fire.

There were also reports of drone attacks on two oil facilities in the Sochi area. One was the Lukoil-Yugnefteprodukt oil depot in Adler, while the other was the Rosneft-Kubanefprodukt oil depot operated by Rosneft.
