Israeli forces eliminate top-ranking Hamas police officers

The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) and the Israel Security Agency (Shabak) eliminated two high-ranking Hamas police officers in the central Gaza Strip on May 20 night.

The fighter jets attacked a Hamas activist known as Zahar Huli (Abu Hamed) from the air, Caliber.Az reports, citing the IDF Spokesperson's Office.

He is an operative of Hamas' military wing who, Shabak revealed, also served as a senior police officer in several refugee camps in the central Gaza Strip.

Huli was responsible for liaising with Hamas terrorists in Judea and Samaria and for coordinating terrorist activities there.
