Israeli strikes target Sepidrood Industrial Park in Rasht

In the early hours of June 20, Israeli projectiles targeted the Sepidrood Industrial Park in Rasht, northern Iran, according to local officials.

The Deputy Political Governor of Gilan Province reported that air defences were swiftly activated in response to the attack, intercepting and destroying several drones and other small aircraft. The extent of damage to the industrial facilities is currently being assessed, Caliber.Az reports via Iranian media.

Separately, an Israeli drone was reportedly shot down in the Shorabad-Kahrizak area of Ray district, near Tehran, according to Iranian media.

Prior to the strike on Sepidrood Industrial Park, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) had issued an urgent warning to Iranian civilians in the Kolesh Taleshan area, advising them to evacuate for their safety.
