Jinping vows efforts to develop China-Azerbaijan cooperation

Chinese President Xi Jinping has vowed to make efforts to develop cooperation with Azerbaijan.

He made the remarks to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on Independence Day to be celebrated on May 28, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani presidential press service.

“Mr President [Ilham Aliyev], you have repeatedly stressed the strategic value of Chinese-Azerbaijani relations and expressed an active intention to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation between our countries, which I highly appreciate. I am ready to make joint efforts with you to develop bilateral relations of friendship and cooperation in a healthy and stable way,” he said.

The Chinese leader expressed satisfaction with agreements reached to reached during “our meeting in Samarkand last September are being effectively implemented and there is a trend of dynamic development of cooperation between our countries in all spheres”.

He wished prosperity and power to friendly Azerbaijan, and happiness and well-being to its people.
