18 September 2022 12:00
Members of Kyrgyzstan’s parliament will resume an extraordinary meeting to discuss the situation on the border with Tajikistan.
"Today, September 18, at 15:00 [13:00, Baku time], an extraordinary meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh [Supreme Council] of the Kyrgyz Republic to be held behind closed doors will continue," Caliber.Az informs, quoting the Kyrgyz Parliament press service.
Speaker of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan Talant Mamytov said that the previous extraordinary meeting was held on September 16 amidst the aggravation of the situation on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border. It was held behind closed doors, as a result, it was decided to announce a break so as not to repeat the procedure for convening another extraordinary meeting.
