Lukashenko embarks on state visit to Azerbaijan
President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has commenced a state visit to Azerbaijan.
During his visit, Lukashenko is scheduled to engage in official discussions with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in Baku. The talks will encompass a range of bilateral issues, including strategies for amplifying trade and economic collaboration across various sectors, with a particular emphasis on industry and agriculture, the Telegram channel "Pool One" says, Caliber.Az reports.
The meeting between the two leaders will be conducted both in a "one-on-one" format and in an expanded format, involving members of their respective delegations. Among the key topics on the agenda are Belarus-Azerbaijan cooperation on international platforms and within integration associations, alongside deliberations on regional and global affairs.
Following the discussions, a series of bilateral documents are expected to be signed.
As part of his itinerary, Lukashenko, alongside President Aliyev, will also attend the Caspian Agro Azerbaijani international agricultural exhibition, to view joint projects and collaborations within the agro-industrial complex.
