Poland receives first batch of ultimate building machine systems Photo
On August 4, the first shipment of the Ultimate Building Machine (UBM) system components reached the 2nd Engineering Regiment in Inowrocław, Poland.
The delivery includes the UBM-240, MIC-163, MIC-650, and MIC-850 machines, marking the initial stage of a contract signed in January 2025 between the 2nd Regional Logistics Base and the American company M.I.C. Industries, Caliber.Az reports per the Inspectorate for Armed Forces Support.

Poland has purchased two complete UBM systems, which will be assigned to the 2nd Engineering Regiment in Inowrocław and the 16th Airfield Repair Battalion in Jarocin.
Further deliveries are scheduled for early October and November. Following comprehensive technical acceptance, practical operator training will begin in Inowrocław (October–November) and Jarocin (November–December).
Prior to this, soldiers had already completed theoretical training on system design and operation at the manufacturer’s headquarters in the United States. Full operational capability for the units is expected in the first half of 2026.
The Ultimate Building Machine is a groundbreaking tool designed to enable the rapid and cost-effective construction of military infrastructure. It facilitates the assembly of weather-resistant, modular structures such as:
-
Hangars
-
Garages
-
Warehouses
This system significantly reduces unit costs and accelerates project completion times. With UBM, the Polish Armed Forces can respond flexibly to evolving operational needs and crises, including providing support facilities for civilian evacuations.
UBM systems are also a core element of the #EasternShield programme—a comprehensive plan to strengthen Poland’s eastern defence infrastructure.
The Ministry of National Defence (@MON_GOV_PL) is committed to close cooperation with local authorities to leverage this technology as a means of enhancing regional resilience and logistical capabilities.
