Magnitude 5.4 earthquake strikes Pakistan

A magnitude 5.4 earthquake struck Pakistan in the early hours of the morning, according to the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).
The EMSC said the earthquake occurred at 3:06 a.m. local time, with its epicentre located about 102 kilometres (63 miles) northwest of the city of Dera Ghazi Khan. The quake originated at a depth of 35 kilometres (22 miles).
There were no immediate reports of casualties or significant damage, and local authorities had not issued official assessments at the time of reporting.
