Media: Hamas eases demands amid renewed Gaza ceasefire efforts
Hamas has informed mediators that it is willing to resolve outstanding issues and is no longer insisting on its previous demands in ongoing negotiations over the situation in the Gaza Strip, according to Al Arabiya/Al Hadath sources.
The sources indicated that increased international pressure on all parties involved could lead to the resumption of ceasefire talks in the coming days. This pressure, they said, is aimed at securing an agreement to halt hostilities as soon as possible, Caliber.Az reports.
According to the report, Palestinian authorities have emphasised that their immediate priorities are ending the war, reopening border crossings, and ensuring the delivery of humanitarian aid — placing these objectives above other considerations.
The developments come amid heightened tensions and mutual accusations between Hamas and both the United States and Israel. US President Donald Trump recently blamed Hamas for stalling negotiations, accusing the group of lacking genuine interest in reaching a deal.
