Russian forces shell hospital in Kherson, injuring two nurses VIDEO
Russian forces shelled a hospital in Kherson on Friday (January 9) afternoon, injuring two nurses, the city administration reported.
In addition to the hospital attack, Russian troops struck the city centre, wounding a 73-year-old woman who was on the street at the time, Caliber.Az reports.
Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, said that over the past 24 hours, three people had been killed and ten others injured in the attacks, including two children.
The shelling also damaged three apartment buildings and nine private homes, and destroyed a workshop, a gas pipeline, and several private vehicles.
The attacks come amid ongoing Russian bombardments of southern Ukraine, raising concerns over the safety of civilians and critical infrastructure.
