Official: Georgia eyes potential future joint projects with World Bank
International investors continue to show interest in Georgian securities despite global economic uncertainty, Georgia’s Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili said.
Khutsishvili summarised the outcomes of recent meetings with the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, noted that investor appetite for Georgian financial instruments remains strong and is expected to grow further in the coming period, Caliber.Az reports via Georgian media.
He added that the government aims to attract investors not only to international markets but also to domestic financial instruments.
He also noted that discussions are underway on issuing securities denominated in the Georgian lari, as well as on potential future joint projects with the World Bank.
The finance minister said these initiatives are part of broader efforts to deepen Georgia’s financial markets and strengthen its engagement with international investors.
