Official: UK not ready to accept refugees from Israel, Gaza VIDEO
The UK is not yet ready to accept refugees from the Middle East, Robert Jenrick, deputy head of the British Home Office for immigration, said in an interview with TV presenter Victoria Derbyshire.
Their conversation was streamed on BBC’s account on X, Caliber.Az reports.
The presenter asked her interlocutor whether Great Britain should accept migrants from Israel and Gaza, clarifying that the country had already acted this way in relation to refugees from Ukraine. “I think that's a bit premature,” Jenrick told her.
