Pakistan preparing to open Trade House in Azerbaijan

Pakistani Ambassador to Azerbaijan Bilal Hayee has said that the Trade House of Pakistan will be opened in Azerbaijan during the next six months.

“The work is currently underway,” Hayee told Report.

The diplomat noted that the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Pakistan is small, and the countries hope that the trade turnover will greatly increase after the Trade House is opened.

“We are dissatisfied with the trade turnover volume between the two countries. We hope that after the Trade House is opened, the bilateral trade volume will increase by about threefold. The embassy organises meetings to increase trade turnover. A delegation of the Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan visited Azerbaijan last week.

“Representatives of 18-19 big companies visited Azerbaijan and held meetings here,” the ambassador said.
