Second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum opens in Baku PHOTO

The Second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum (AIIF 2026) has opened in Baku under the patronage of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, bringing together international investors, government officials, financial institutions and business leaders.

The two-day forum is being held under the theme “Restoring Trust in a Fragmented World: The South Caucasus as a Pillar of Global Connectivity and Investment Resilience," Caliber.Az reports via local media. 

The event is organised through a strategic partnership between Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Economy and The European House – Ambrosetti (TEHA Group).

The forum aims to facilitate new partnerships, attract investment and identify economic opportunities, with a particular focus on developing cooperation around specific projects and establishing mechanisms for joint action.

Discussions at the forum will focus on the impact of global economic and geopolitical developments on investment and economic growth, Azerbaijan’s strategic position, regional connectivity and investment opportunities, as well as prospects for cooperation across various sectors.

Azerbaijani institutions are also expected to sign and exchange cooperation agreements with foreign companies and international partners during the event.

Organisers expect the forum to help expand investment opportunities, strengthen Azerbaijan’s role in regional economic connectivity and support the development of new projects and partnerships.
