Pakistani premier invites Azerbaijani president for official visit to strengthen bilateral ties

Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has extended an invitation to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to pay an official visit to Pakistan.

According to Caliber.Az, this invitation was conveyed in a congratulatory letter from Prime Minister Sharif to President Aliyev on the occasion of Azerbaijan's Independence Day on May 28.

"Your Excellency, it is in this spirit that I once again convey an invitation to pay an official visit to Pakistan in the nearest future acceptable to you. This visit will not only give impetus to our time-tested and enduring friendly ties but will also open a new and glorious page in our relations," the letter reads.
