PAS vice-chairman vows greater engagement following Moldova election results
Dan Perciun, Vice-Chairman of the pro-European Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS), offered the party’s first response after the announcement of preliminary results from Moldova’s 2025 parliamentary elections.
Speaking to TV8, Perciun emphasised that PAS intends to strengthen its engagement with citizens and maintain an ongoing dialogue.
“We will try to listen to citizens more, maintain a constant dialogue, and improve areas where perhaps not enough effort has been made so far. During this campaign, we received a lot of feedback and suggestions; we will take them into account in the end and, if possible, implement them in the future,” he said.
PAS, founded by Moldovan President Maia Sandu, is projected to secure a decisive victory in the elections, reflecting strong support in the capital, suburban areas, and central regions of the country. The party’s win is seen as a continuation of Moldova’s pro-European trajectory, despite significant gains for pro-Russian parties in regions such as Gagauzia, Transnistria, and several northern districts.
