PM Netanyahu warns of Iran’s growing threat to US, Israel PHOTO
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned that Iran is developing new types of weapons that could pose a danger not only to Israel but also to the United States.
Speaking in an interview with Ben Shapiro, Netanyahu said that Iran is working on ballistic missiles with a range of up to 8,000 kilometres, Caliber.Az reports via Cursor Info.
“Add another 3,000, and Iran’s nuclear arsenal could threaten New York, Boston, Washington, Miami, and Mar-a-Lago,” he said, referring to President Donald Trump’s residence in Florida.
Netanyahu stressed that this represents a “serious threat” and cautioned Americans: “You don’t want to be under the nuclear crosshairs of people who don’t always think rationally and shout ‘Death to America.’”
His comments came in response to criticism in the U.S., where some Trump supporters view Israel’s policies as a burden on America. Netanyahu noted that while Iran’s threat is currently aimed at Israel, it could eventually extend to the United States.
The Prime Minister also hinted at the development of new Israeli weapons, claiming that Israel is creating “the most advanced offensive weapons in the world,” which it shares with the U.S.
On the situation in Gaza, Netanyahu said, “We are close to finishing the war, but we’re not there yet.” He recalled that exactly two years ago, on October 7, Israel experienced “the largest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust.” “Everyone thought Israel was finished. But we broke the Iranian axis and much of its infrastructure,” he said.
He added that Israel has “defeated” Hezbollah and Syrian forces and “pushed back” Iran’s nuclear and ballistic programs with support from Trump.
Netanyahu concluded the interview by saying: “I told the Arabs and Iran before October 7: at the decisive moment, we will unite and win. And that’s exactly what happened.”
