Polish PM: Russia carries out daily provocations in the Baltic
Russia is reportedly conducting provocations in the Baltic Sea almost every day, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has said.
Tusk stated that in their region, the Baltic Sea, new incidents are occurring every week, almost every day, Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media.
He added that the latest incident took place near the port of Szczecin.
Meanwhile, Poland’s Foreign Minister, Radosław Sikorski, has warned that further diplomatic action against Russia could be on the table amid what he described as an ongoing hybrid war targeting the West.
Speaking to TVP Info, Sikorski said he would consider additional measures if it is confirmed that Russia continues to conduct such operations against Poland and Western nations through acts of sabotage.
His remarks followed the arrest by Polish security services of a Ukrainian national allegedly preparing attacks and acts of sabotage “on the orders of Russian military intelligence (GRU).”
Sikorski recalled that he previously ordered the closure of Russian consulates in Poznań and Kraków following incidents, including an arson attack at a factory in Wrocław and a shopping centre in Warsaw, which Polish authorities have attributed to Russian intelligence services.
