President Aliyev attends award ceremony of "Heritage of the Future" International Prize in Tashkent PHOTO

On November 15, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev took part in a solemn ceremony for the presentation of the International “Heritage of the Future” Prize in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

People’s Artist Alim Gasimov was the sole recipient from Azerbaijan to be honoured with the award.

For the record, President Aliyev arrived in Tashkent on November 15 at the invitation of Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to take part in the 7th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia.

Before the Consultative Meeting, the presidents held a one-on-one meeting in the Uzbek capital, during which both leaders highlighted the successful development of Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan relations, which are grounded in a strategic partnership and alliance.
