President Aliyev: We are doing everything possible to return all former internally displaced persons
"Today is a significant day in the life of our country. It is a great honour for me to welcome my dear brother in Jabrayil, Zangilan, to say: "Welcome."
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev made the remarks on October after a one-on-one meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Jabrayil District, APA reports.
“Today we have opened the Zangilan airport. A year ago, with the participation of my dear brother, we opened the Fuzuli airport together. Today we have opened the Zangilan airport. This shows that we are together in all joyful days,” President Aliyev said.
The Azerbaijani leader also noted that more extensive work will be carried out for the complete restoration of Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur.
“We are doing everything possible to return all former internally displaced persons, we are working day and night,” the head of state said.
The president emphasized that such a powerful country as Türkiye is the brother of Azerbaijan.
“This is a great happiness for us. And the Second Karabakh War, the post-war period further strengthened this unity,” the head of state added.
