Russian defence ministry reports two dozen AFU drone shootdowns

On the night of February 9, 19 Ukrainian drones attempted to attack Russian cities, the Russian defence ministry said.

According to Kommersant, air defences intercepted and destroyed them over Kursk, Bryansk, Orel, Krasnodar and the Black Sea.

"An attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out terrorist attacks using 19 aircraft-type drones against objects on the territory of the Russian Federation was foiled tonight. The unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed by air defence forces operating over the territories of the Kursk (2 UAVs), Bryansk (5 UAVs) and Orel (4 UAVs) regions, over the territory of the Krasnodar Territory (2 UAVs) and over the waters of the Black Sea (6 UAVs)," the ministry's message says.
