Russian drones strike Kherson again, leaving casualties, significant damage PHOTO
Russian drone attacks once again targeted Ukraine's Kherson overnight and into the early morning, leaving two civilians injured and damaging multiple sites of civilian infrastructure, local authorities reported.
According to the regional administration, the first strike occurred at approximately 11:00 p.m. in the Dniprovskyi district, Caliber.Az reports.
A 48-year-old man sustained blast trauma, a concussion, and multiple shrapnel wounds to his head, torso, arms, and legs. He was transported to the hospital, where he remains in moderate condition.
A second strike followed in the morning in the Korabelnyi district, where the impact damaged a supermarket, several apartment buildings, and a vehicle. A 52-year-old woman suffered a concussion, a closed head injury, and shrapnel wounds to her face and back. She was also hospitalized in moderate condition.
Local officials emphasized that drone assaults on the city continue to pose a persistent threat to residents as civilian areas remain frequent targets.
