Media: Russian attack hits homes, university and shopping centre in Zaporizhzhia VIDEO

Two apartment buildings, a university building and a shopping centre were damaged in a Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia, with one person injured, ASTRA reports, citing local authorities.

“Hits were recorded on high-rise residential buildings, a shopping centre and an educational institution. A fire broke out in one of the buildings. Preliminary information indicates that one person was injured. Information about other possible casualties and the consequences of the attack is being clarified,” acting head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Mykhailo Semikin said.

Local channels published footage showing a burning apartment building.

The attack followed an overnight drone warning issued by authorities in Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region on September 21.
