Trump posts image depicting major US media outlets as trash bags PHOTO

The image shows the three bags lined up on the White House lawn. The bag labelled “MS NOW” uses the network’s former name, MSNBC, Caliber.Az reports.

The post comes days after Trump announced that he was revoking White House press credentials for journalists from CNN, MS NOW and Politico. On September 18, the president accused the outlets of spreading what he described as false information about his administration.

Trump also criticised MS NOW over its name change, saying the network had rebranded because of what he characterised as a decline in viewership and public trust.

The president has frequently criticised media outlets over their coverage of his administration, while the affected news organisations have continued to report on the White House and U.S. politics.
