Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia kills one, injures several PHOTO

A Russian strike on the southeastern Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia has left one person dead and several others injured, according to regional authorities.

The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, said four people sustained injuries in the attack, including a 10-year-old child. All those affected are receiving the necessary medical treatment.

Fedorov added that the aerial assault caused damage to a number of residential buildings as well as non-residential structures.

There was no immediate comment from Moscow on the reported strike.
