Tajik, Chinese presidents sign joint statement on strategic partnership

President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and Chinese President Xi Jinping signed a joint statement on comprehensive strategic partnership following their talks in Dushanbe.
The leaders of Tajikistan and China adopted the Joint Statement on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and ceremoniously signed it, Caliber.Az reports per Russian media.
The Chinese president arrived in Dushanbe on a state visit. During the visit, the narrow-and-expanded-format talks were held with Rahmon.
Additionally, a ceremony is scheduled to open new government and parliament buildings in Tajikistan, financed by the Chinese side.
Jinping’s visit will conclude on July 6.
