Tehran seizes suspected Mossad trucks used in kamikaze drone attacks PHOTO
Iranian authorities have seized several vehicles allegedly used by Mossad agents to transport kamikaze drones inside the country, according to a report published on June 14 by the NourNews agency, which is closely affiliated with Iran’s security establishment.
The report states that Iranian security forces are intensifying efforts to uncover further clandestine activity and have urged citizens to report any suspicious vehicles or behaviours they encounter.
The announcement came shortly after Israeli officials released a video purporting to show Mossad operatives operating deep within Iran. According to these officials, the agents were captured on video recovering high-precision missiles and explosive-laden drones that had been hidden near Tehran and were prepared to target strategic sites in the area.
Unnamed Israeli security sources, cited in Israeli media, claimed that these weapons were launched from trucks smuggled into Iran as well as from a concealed drone base near the capital. The explosives were allegedly positioned well in advance of Israel’s major air assault, in a covert operation that set the stage for Friday’s offensive.
The full-scale attack, dubbed Operation Rising Lion by Israel, involved approximately 200 military aircraft. The strike began in the early morning hours of June 13, with warplanes taking off from Israeli bases to carry out what Israeli officials described as a wide-reaching mission against Iranian military targets.
However, according to Israeli accounts, the decisive work had been conducted long before the air operation began. Mossad operatives and Israeli special forces had allegedly infiltrated Iranian territory, transported weapons in secret, and positioned drones for deployment —all without detection.
