Trump warns of World War III risk Amid Middle East tensions
Former US President and Republican Party candidate Donald Trump has expressed concerns about the potential outbreak of World War III due to escalating tensions in the Middle East.
Speaking to Fox News, Trump highlighted his apprehension about global stability in the current political climate, Caliber.Az reports.
"I'm concerned about the possibility of World War III until the moment I'm there (as US president)," Trump responded when asked about the situation in the Middle East.
Confident in his leadership, he added, "And we won't have World War III if I'm in the White House."
Trump criticized the current administration, stating, "there is a big problem as in the world nobody respects US President Joe Biden and US Vice President Kamala Harris."
The Middle East has seen a significant escalation following the death of Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran and the subsequent Israel Defence Forces strike on Beirut, which resulted in the death of Hezbollah commander Fuad Shukr. These events have intensified regional instability, raising concerns about broader international conflict.
