Turkish ASELSAN supplies Azerbaijani MoD with satellite terminals PHOTO
ASELSAN's annual report for 2022 says that 10 PUP portable satellite terminals were handed over to Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defence.
Caliber.Az reports citing Defence Turk's Twitter that the supplied systems will provide the necessary voice and IP data transfer through the satellite earth station, currently installed and used by ASELSAN in Azerbaijan.

In addition, to provide a secure and up-to-date communications infrastructure urgently needed by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence, software radios operating in V/UHF and HF bands and internal software for all types of aircraft and helicopters, as well as fixed and mobile towers in the inventory of the Azerbaijani Air Force Command. Voice systems have been delivered/integrated with various ASELSAN communications products. As of 2022, it was announced that all phases of the project had been successfully completed.
Together with the HÂKİM air traffic control system, another project that ASELSAN is implementing, the Azerbaijani Air Force will provide real-time monitoring and control of Azerbaijani airspace on an integrated basis with all radars, aircraft and air defence systems in Azerbaijan.
As of December 2022, as part of the first delivery of the project, all installation work has been completed and the first centre with an area of 3,005 m2 has been handed over.
