Azerbaijani FM wishes Serbia success in preparing for EXPO 2027
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and President of the National Assembly of Serbia Ana Brnabić have discussed prospects for further strengthening strategic partnership.
Bayramov is on an official visit to Serbia. The meeting focused on enhancing inter-parliamentary relations between the two countries, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry told Caliber.Az.
Both sides expressed satisfaction with the level of strategic alliance based on mutual respect and trust. The importance of parliamentary diplomacy and the need to strengthen cooperation within international parliamentary platforms were emphasised. In this context, the work of the friendship parliamentary groups between Azerbaijan and Serbia was positively acknowledged.
Brnabić expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for its support of Serbia's territorial integrity and sovereignty. Both sides highlighted their mutual support for each other in international organisations such as the United Nations and the Council of Europe.
Bayramov wished Serbia success in preparing for EXPO 2027 and emphasised that hosting the event in Serbia reflects the country's growing international stature.
