Turkish intelligence detains over 50 suspects with links to ISIS

Türkiye’s Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya has said that Turkish intelligence services detained 51 people on suspicion of links to the Islamic State (ISIS) terrorist group.

He made the remarks on his page on the social network X, Caliber.Az reports.

“As part of the operations, which were carried out over four days in 21 provinces, 51 people were detained on suspicion of links to the terrorist organization ISIS,” Yerlikaya wrote.

According to the minister, the most people - 10 - were detained in Ankara.

During the operations, a significant number of documents and digital media related to the activities of the Islamic State were seized.
