Türkiye fighting terrorism both inside and outside the country - defence minister

Turkish Minister of National Defense Yashar Guler spoke at events dedicated to the 109th anniversary of Victory Day and the memory of the martyrs of Canakkale.

Guler noted that the victory at Çanakkale became the harbinger of the National Struggle and is one of the greatest victories in history, Trend reports.

He stressed that Türkiye continues to strive to create a stronger and brighter future, working to ensure peace and stability from the Black Sea to Africa.

The minister noted that the Turkish Armed Forces are fighting terrorism both within the country and abroad.

He emphasized Türkiye's determination to protect its rights and interests both on land and at sea.

Guler also noted Türkiye's active participation in resolving the Gaza conflict and its contribution to support Somalia, including military exercises and humanitarian assistance.
