Ukraine claims Russian death toll rises to more than 142,000
About 1,010 Russian soldiers have been killed over the past day by the Ukrainian forces.
Russia has already lost 142,270 servicemen since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing the message of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Moreover, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed two air defence systems and three unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
Russia's combat casualties from February 24, 2022, to February 18, 2023, are as follows:
• personnel – around 142,270 people (+1,010),
• tanks – 3,303 (+5),
• armoured combat vehicles – 6,533 (+13),
• artillery systems – 2,326 (+4),
• multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) – 469 (+2),
• air defence systems – 243 (+2),
• aircraft – 298,
• helicopters – 287,
• tactical UAV– 2,016 (+3),
• cruise missiles – 871,
• ships/boats – 18,
• military cars and fuel tanks – 5,196 (+9),
• special equipment – 223 (+2).
