Ukraine destroys over 5,000 Russian artillery systems since start of war PHOTO

Ukrainian Armed Forces have destroyed more than 5,000 artillery systems of the Russian army since Russia started the full-scale invasion of Ukraine on Feb. 24, 2022.

"The calculations of guns, howitzers and mortars that ravaged our land are now mixed with it. This achievement is not just numbers and facts. It is a testament to the effective cooperation of various units of the Defense Forces under conditions of the incredible intensity of combat operations," the defence ministry said in a statement, RBC-Ukraine reports with reference to Ukraine’s Defence Ministry.

The photo published by the Ukrainian Defense Ministry shows one of the five thousand destroyed Russian artillery systems.

"Now it stands in the centre of the capital as a symbol of our unyielding will and resistance," the ministry said.
