Ukraine distances itself from Crocus City Hall terrorist attack Zelenskyy's Office denies involvement
Ukraine has nothing to do with the shooting at the Crocus City Hall shopping centre near Moscow, Russia. These events have signs of terror, which the leadership of the aggressor country practices against its population.
RBC-Ukraine reports, citing the adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Mykhailo Podolyak.
In the released video message, he reacted to the events in the shopping center near Moscow and stressed that Ukraine had nothing to do with the shooting.
Podolyak explained that the Ukrainian Defence Forces are fighting back Russian invaders on their territories per internationally recognised acceptable methods of warfare.
At the same time, the presidential representative recalled that the Kremlin has repeatedly carried out various terrorist attacks in Russian cities, including for provocation. In this context, Podolyak cited the example of Nord-Ost in October 2002, which is called the terrorist attack on Dubrovka in Moscow.
He also recalled warnings in early March by various international diplomatic missions about the threat of terrorist attacks in the Russian Federation in crowded places, probably with a provocative purpose.
