Ukraine reports deep strikes on Russian ferries, fuel tanks, radar systems
Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) said it carried out a large-scale overnight special operation on July 13, launching coordinated drone strikes against multiple military, logistics, and fuel infrastructure facilities inside Russia.
According to the SBU, the operation targeted a range of strategic assets across several locations.
The agency said its drones struck two Project 12150 Mangust patrol boats operating in the Black Sea, as well as three stationary radar stations that Russia uses to detect unmanned surface vessels and strike drones.
The SBU also reported strikes on the Yeysk and Mariya vehicle ferries at the Crimea ferry terminal in Kerch, and the Lavrentiy and Panagia vehicle ferries at the Port Kavkaz terminal.
In addition, the agency said the operation hit three fuel storage tanks at the petroleum transshipment complex in Port Kavkaz, a freight train carrying fuel tank cars at the Kavkaz cargo railway station, and the fuel storage tank farm at an oil depot in the settlement of Vyazniki, Stavropol Krai, approximately 600 kilometres (373 miles) from the Ukrainian border.
