Ukraine thanks US for over $12 billion aid
US President Joe Biden has signed a bill envisaging additional aid worth $12.35 billion to Ukraine.
“Thank you President Biden for signing into law $12.35 bln in supplemental support for Ukraine. The day before, the bill was backed by both houses of US Congress. We appreciate this powerful act of solidarity of the US people with Ukraine. And the bicameral and bipartisan support of our state,” Caliber.Az reports with reference to President Zelenskyy’s message on Twitter.

The Ukrainian president noted that the law envisages the financing of Ukraine's defence programmes and is a powerful support.
“This help is more important than ever. We must continue jointly counteracting Russian aggression!” President Zelenskyy added.
The House of Representatives approved the allocation of financial assistance to Ukraine in the amount of $12.35 billion on September 30. Afterwards, President Biden immediately signed the law.
