US diplomats spend New Year's Eve in shelter of Kyiv embassy

US diplomats in Kyiv spent New Year's Eve at the embassy's hideout due to air raid alerts, and said they'd chosen "the phrase of the year" during that time.

This was reported on the official Twitter of the US Embassy, according to European Pravda.

“In hiding in the middle of the night today, during the relentless Russian shelling of Ukraine, diplomats from the American embassy in Kyiv conducted a poll regarding our favorite phrase of 2022. The winner, without surprise, was the "Russian warship ...", the embassy noted.
