US sees no sign of Russia buying Iranian drones

The United States has seen no sign of the Russian Defence Ministry buying Iranian military drones a week after Russian President Vladimir Putin visited Irans’s capital city Tehran.

The statement was made by the chief spokesman of the White House National Security Council John Kirby at a press briefing on July 26, RBC-Ukraine informs.

He noted that Western sanctions damage Russia’s defence power and thereby complicate Moscow’s deployment of the latest military equipment on the frontlines.

“We have not seen any evidence of delivery or purchase of Iranian drones by the Russian Ministry of Defence,” Kirby said.
